Golden Visa Greece

Launched in 2013, the Greek Golden Visa Program grants a five-year residence permit in exchange for as low as a €250.000 real estate investment in Greece. You can include your family in the residency program.  The Greek Golden Visa allows you to live in Greece and travel across the Schengen region, without a visa.

• Live in Greece and enjoy its benefits, which include high levels of safety and security, excellent education opportunities, and robust healthcare options.
• Travel across the Schengen zone without the need for an additional visa. The Schengen zone consists of 26 European countries that have officially abolished visas and border control at their mutual borders.
• Depending on your country of residence and the amount of time you spend in Greece, it is likely that your international income may not be subject to taxation in Greece.
• Eligibility to apply for citizenship after seven years of residence

• Be a non-EU/EEA country citizen
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a clean criminal record
• Have medical insurance for yourself and your family

Yes, there are two types.  The first type is the Golden Visa Greece, which has the lowest investment threshold (€250.000) in Europe.  This Golden Visa refers to properties in the following areas: Piraeus, Athens West, Rest of Attica, Rest of Greece (except the areas of the Golden Visa Greece €500.000).  The second type is the Golden Visa Greece, for which the minimum investment threshold is €500.000 and refers to the following areas: Mykonos, Santorini, Thessaloniki, Athens South, Athens North, Athens (Municipality of Athens).
